Important Notice From CNC
URGENT
LEGISLATIVE ALERT
Impacting Chiropractic!
(Senate Bill 287)
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE NC STATE EMPLOYEES HEALTH PLAN
To all CNC providers,
To help get this important message to as many chiropractors as possible, the NCCA has requested our assistance in informing you of the impact of the proposed Senate Bill 287.
Section 2. (e) of SB 287 among other changes, includes a proposed increase to the in-network deductible to $800.00 per member as well as an increase to the “specialist” (chiropractic) copayment to $70.00, which would all but eliminate chiropractic coverage for NC state employees and teachers!
We need the IMMEDIATE assistance of every NC chiropractor! Please ask EACH of your patients that are state employees/teachers to contact their legislator WHILE THEY ARE IN YOUR OFFICE, and ask these legislators not to raise their chiropractic copay to $70.00, which will, in essence, eliminate their chiropractic benefit! This bill is scheduled to go to the Senate TODAY and will go to the House very soon so it is imperative that we all ACT NOW!
Each and every phone call and email to our NC Representatives can make a difference!
To make this as easy as possible for you and your patients, we are including a list of the NC Representatives by county. This list also includes office phone numbers as well as the email addresses for
each NC Representative.
Please CLICK HERE to view and print the list of NC Representatives. (Please be patient - it will take a moment for this page to load)
The NCCA is working diligently to prevent $70.00 copayments for chiropractic from becoming a reality but they cannot do this without your help!
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the NCCA Headquarters at 919.832.0611 or contact@ncchiropractic.com.
Thank you,
CNC
