CNC recently announced the availability of the new BCBSNC Blue eSM website. Signing up for this great service will allow you to check benefits and eligibility for most of your BCBSNC members on-line, as well as checking the status of your BCBCNC claims sent through CNC.
CNC recently mailed applications to those providers who currently were not signed up for Blue eSM.
If you haven’t returned your completed application to CNC, please do so as soon as possible so that
you will have access to this great service! If you have not received an application from CNC, please use your CNC Fax Inquiry Form and fax us a written request for a Blue eSM application packet. We will send you one immediately!
If you are ALREADY using Blue eSM, BCBSNC representatives will soon be sending you instructions so that you may also have access to this new version. You will then be able to continue to use your existing Blue eSM as well as having access to eligibility and claims status information for most of your BCBS members!
Blue eSM is an Internet-based application for verification of
BCBSNC membership eligibility and for BCBSNC claims
status inquiries. (This means you will no longer need to call
BCBSNC to verify eligibility; you can now do it online!) You
will also now be able to check the status of your BCBS claims
online, instead of calling BCBSNC or CNC. Determining the
status of your claims online will be far more efficient than all
those phone calls! By eliminating all those lengthy calls to
BCBSNC or CNC, both of these services will save valuable,
productive staff time for your office! And the best news is
that this new version of Blue eSM, designed exclusively for CNC
providers, is being provided at NO COST to you.
