Fee Schedule Expansion

Chiropractic Network of the Carolinas, Inc. is pleased to bring you an expanded fee schedule for our Cigna Healthcare SC contract. Additionally, CNC will allow all billed codes and units to pass through for CIGNA review and adjudication.

It is important to note that just because a code is listed on the fee schedule it does not necessarily mean that it will be paid for by CIGNA. Payment for each code is reviewed by CIGNA at the time of adjudication and payment is made based on medical policy, medical necessity and individual policy benefits. Therefore, you may find that a specific code is reimbursed for one member but not another based on the various reasons stated above.

 With this opportunity comes an important responsibility for CNC and each of its providers. As a contracting CIGNA provider group, CNC and its providers has the continued responsibility of providing cost-effective chiropractic services. CNC will continue to monitor practice patterns and, if needed, will provide feedback and counseling to help each provider remain a cost-effective partner for CNC and CIGNA.
