CNC is again excited to announce our “Free CE from CNC” annual seminar program designed to assist you with meeting your continuing education requirements by offering our network providers free continuing education credits each year!

This year, CNC is so excited to bring you a very special guest speaker on Friday, March 13, 2008.    Mr. Mark Victor Hansen is the co-creator of the wildly successful Chicken Soup for the Soul series with 145 titles and over 100 million copies sold, and published in 41 languages.  The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth and its sequel, Cracking the Millionaire Code is destined to inspire one million new millionaires this decade.   He will be speaking on Friday ONLY, March 13, from 1-4 pm.  This program is FREE for you and ALL of your staff members.  Space is limited for this special speaker so please register now to hear this remarkable motivational speaker!

Hotel Reservations

Our seminar will be held again at the fabulous Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons/Koury Convention Center.

The Sheraton Four Seasons is the largest hotel and convention center between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia and offers excellent restaurants and bars, an exciting night life, and adjoins the famous Four Seasons Mall, one of the largest enclosed malls in the Southeast.  (If you would like additional information about this great convention center, please visit their website at: www.sheratongreensboro.com)

We have reserved a block of rooms at the hotel for CNC providers for both Friday and Saturday nights at a discounted price of $128.00 per night, plus tax.  These rooms will be available at the discounted price and held until February 13, 2009.  After that date, the hotel will continue to take reservations if rooms are available, at their regular rates.  Please contact them directly prior to the February 13 deadline to reserve your room.

To reserve your room, call the Sheraton at Four Seasons at 1-800-242-6556, extension #1.  Please be sure to identify yourself as a CNC provider in order to get the group discount.

Saturday Lunch provided by CNC

FREE lunch will be provided by CNC from 12 noon to 1pm for all registered CNC providers so you don’t have to worry about rushing to find a restaurant and making it back for the 1pm afternoon session!

CNC Cocktail Reception (Saturday, March 14, 5pm)

(There is NO CHARGE for this cocktail reception!)

After your CE class on Saturday, please join us for our Saturday night Cocktail Reception, just a few steps away from the seminar classrooms.   You can expect delicious food, icy cocktails and other beverages, and an opportunity to spend the evening with friends and colleagues from across the state.    The 2007 & 2008 Cocktail Receptions were TREMENDOUS successes so please make plans to join us for this special event on Saturday, March 14, at 5pm, immediately following the seminar!

To register for the seminar, go to the CNC website:  www.cncarolinas.com

and click on the large GREEN button “Provider Login.”  Then enter your CNC username and password.   (For your convenience, we have included your unique CNC user name and password in this packet in the left pocket of this folder.)  Please remember when entering your user name and password, that they are case sensitive!

From the secure portion of the website, just click on the NC SEMINAR tab at the top of the page.   This will give you a “drop down” box from which you may choose any of the following actions:

• Register   (to register for the 2009 CE Seminar)
• Seminar facts   (a quick overview of pertinent seminar facts)
• Hotel information   (to make hotel reservations and a link to the hotel website)
• Directions   (printable directions to the convention center)
• Confirmation   (printable confirmation of your CE seminar registration)
• CE Credits   (information on NC BOE CE credits and CE certificates)

NOTE:   In addition to the 3 hour program on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2009,

please remember that you may only register for ONE of the two 12 hour CE programs, as both of these will be held at the same time on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 2009.
