2009 BCBS Federal Employee Plan (FEP) Changes

BCBSNC FEDERAL PLAN

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2009

CNC Providers are "Preferred" Providers

Please note that the BCBS Federal Employee Program has a few changes for 2009. The FEP Basic Option increased the patient co-pay from $20 to $25 per visit and the FEP Standard Option increased the patient co-pay from $15 to $20 per visit. The FEP Standard Option also increased the number of spinal manipulations from 10 to 12 per calendar year.

Please remember that the Federal Employee Plan is subject to the BCBSNC Corporate Medical Policy therefore maintenance and supportive care are considered non-covered services, as well as other services that you may have provided in the past.  To view the BCBSNC CMP, please click here.
