Health Care Savings has recently been acquired by Medcost of Winston-Salem, NC and is no longer in operation. If a patient presents you with an ID card that indicates Health Care Savings or HCS, please request current insurance information from your patient.

If you have any Health Care Savings claims that have not yet been paid, PLEASE be sure you get these claims to CNC by March 28, 2007 or Medcost will deny these claims. If you have any questions regarding this, please call your CNC Provider Representative for assistance.
